Connect Digital Decal to your venue's Wi-Fi with Crawl Connect app
STEP 1
Download the app on Google Play or Apple app store

When app is loaded, allow premissions per insstructions.

Log into Beer Crawl using your account that is assigned to venue(s), brewery(s) or both.

Select 'Digital Decals'.

STEP 5
Ensure you are standaing at the font, where the decals will be installed. It is essential not to move from this area whilst connecting the decals.

The app will scan (via Bluetooth) and automatically display what Digital Decals your phone can connect to.
Results will appear, note the following connection stats:
  • GREAT: connection (0 > -55 dBm)
  • GOOD: connection (-56 > -67 dBm)
  • FAIR: connection (-68 > -80 dBm)
  • BAD: connection (-81 > -90 dBm)
  • UNUSABLE: connection (-91+ dBm)
  1. In the Left column, click to select what decals you want to connect to
  2. Click the connect button
NOTE: Will only display devices with Wi-Fi strength above -70 Dbi
• -30 to -50 Dbi is optimal
• -51 to -70 Dbi will have connection issues
• -71 Dbi and above will not connect

STEP 7
Now select the decals (that are connected to your phone) and connect them to your venues Wi-Fi

  1. In the Left column, click to select what decals you want to connect to your venues Wi-fi
  2. Click the 'Add SSID' button

We now select the closest access point (AP) to the bar to connect the decals to.

Note the following connection stats (connecting the DECAL to your venues AP / router) via Wi-Fi:
  • GREAT: connection (0 > -52 dBm)
  • GOOD: connection (-53 > -67 dBm)
  • FAIR: connection (-68 > -82 dBm)
  • BAD: connection (-83 > -97 dBm)
  • UNUSABLE: connection (-98+ dBm)
  1. From the drop down, select the right AP for the decals to connect to
  2. Enter the password for the access point
  3. Click connect
NOTE: Will only display devices with Wi-Fi strength above -70 Dbi
• -30 to -50 Dbi is optimal
• -51 to -70 Dbi will have connection issues
• -71 Dbi and above will not connect SEE Wi-Fi requirements here
